I ordered some tread from tatskool hand dyed thread when it arrived it came with a small amount as a free-bee, Rainbow 'lite' Sweet shop 60. I found a Easter pattern by Erin Holloway BUNNY TRIM. I did this tonight and have made it into a card. Looks good yes.

shamrock wreath





Well as you can see i have tatted all day to finnish Shamrock wreath, can you see the mistake.Yes there is one, but i had done to much to reverse tat. Working with eight shuttles is hard work but has got me ready to start the tatting piece in ring of tatters magazine. Have included it pinned out, have seen many pieces that have not had this done and yes you can tell.
HOPE by sherry pence. what a lovely butterfly i did rush itand am now doing it again to get it right.

both of these were done by useing a pattern by jane eborell, a flower fairy. first i did the snowman as a compertion piece and yes i won. everyone said i needed to do santa so santa was born.
well today have been to derby shopping so now i must get down to some tatting.

shamrock wreath




well as you can see i have been busy. yes have done a lot of reverse tatting. this celtic design
uses 4 working shuttles and 4 ball shuttles and what a mess they get in. so in the ring of tatting book center pages a pattern used a cardboard gadget so i made a similar gadget and hooray it works. now i can tat with no tangles and it saves time from haveing to undo and even reverse tat. now just need to finish it.

Todays Efforts

had a good day today, got up did the dreaded housework and the day is mine. have wanted to do this quilt for weeks but has been to cold in the conservatory where machine is. sun has beeen out so got down to it at 11o,clock and finnished it by 2.30 not bad time wise. did a lot of reverse tatting last night so i'm now going to try again, pattern is celtic and i missed one under so need to be careful. so sorry pictures side on but i'm still learning.

hi fellow tatters. have just started new tatted shamrock wreath pattern, has 4 shuttles as workers and 4 shuttles as balls, what a tangle of threads. its a pattern i found on international old lacers web many lovely patterns there have a look.
today spent time at friends trying out the craft of temari, we found this at be-stiched site looked it up on web and boght a couple of books. pictures may follow at a latter day.
