It is round, but took photo on my leg. Well here's round three and it's finished. Tatting fool found out that it's Nancy Tracy's Mum's Pink doily. I have loved the challenge and only looked at the pattern after I had finished. Diane(Lace-lovin' librarian) and I have both done it slightly different and different to the pattern but they all look the same.

Job well done! It looks great
ReplyDeleteI really like your color choices! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteYou interpreted the fabric pattern beautifully! I really like the colors, too! Little did we realize that this was a section of Nancy Tracy's pattern from 1997! You have correctly indicated the long picots on the big rings, but I think Nancy forgot to indicate the 'long piocot' notation on her pattern, although it's obvious that they actually are long on the actual doily.
ReplyDeleteNow we have the question of how Nancy's doily showed up on the fabric! And Miranda just happened to notice the fabric at JoAnn's. It's been quite a saga!
Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your doily, It is great how you used three different colors, love it.
