Another U.F.O finished.Started these last year. Pattern is Jon's Quantiesque Snowflake. Lizbeth 40. Blue Ice on Lime egg, Rainbow Taffy on Teal egg and Sea Island on Lilac egg.
Do you know - whenever I want to cheer myself up I always go to the Rainbow Taffy thread. Don't know what there is about it but it's SO cheerful. Very pretty colour combinations of eggs and threads.
I was just about to ask if I saw a second snowflake on the other side, and you answered my question! That IS a lot of work, but VERY effective. It's a great way to achieve total coverage of an egg, and I'm so glad they make these satin-covered eggs that enable us to pin the designs on! I still haven't done Jon's pattern yet, but it's on my 'must do' list! These are such pretty combinations of threads and eggs! Hope your feeling better every day.
